Queen Elizabeth Buys Home in Fremont

Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II
Oct 06, 1999 -- In what may be the ultimate form of gentrification and a salute to Fremont's status as the Center of the Universe, Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's ruling monarch, has purchased a condominium on N 43rd Street. The Queen won't be staying there, however. She bought it for use by the Canadian Consulate, according to Windermere broker Claudia Case. The 3-bedroom, 3 1/2-bath unit reportedly sold for $400,000.

There is a grave mistake under the picture. The term "Royal Highness" should be replaced by "Her Majesty". And maybe should you put a more recent picture, since that one is the officicial coronation portrait from 1953.
