Insurance Commissioner Candidates Pitch 36th District Demos
Apr 19, 2000 -- Mike Kreidler and John Conniff, Democratic candidates for State Insurance Commissioner, are scheduled to address the 36th District Democrats' membership meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 20. The Democrats meet at the Northwest Senior Center, corner of 32nd Avenue Northwest and Northwest Market Street in Ballard.The Democrats also are scheduled to hear reports from 36th District legislators (Rep. Mary Lou Dickerson and Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles have confirmed; Rep. Helen Sommers is tentative) about this year's session of the Legislature.
District meetings are free and open to the public, but voting on district business is limited to members and precinct committee officers in good standing. The 36th District includes Ballard, Magnolia, Queen Anne, and parts of Belltown, Fremont, Greenwood and Phinney Ridge.
