Apr 19, 2000 -- Seattle Press readers are invited to participate in our new food section by sending in their favorite family recipes. Send in recipes for your cherished desserts, main dishes, barbecue, grandma's treasures or your own newly discovered left-over delight. Tell us how you discovered the recipe, or what it has meant to your family.

Entries will be judged on mouth wateringness and clarity of instructions. One winner will be chosen for each issue. Prizes will include a subscription to The Seattle Press or a gift certificate at a local food store. The Seattle Press staff will judge the competition.
