May 31, 2000 --
David Horsey, Wallingford's only nationally known Pulitzer Prize winning editorial cartoonist visited some of his neighbors recently at the Wallingford Community Council Meeting. He talked about his creative process, showed the cartoon he had just finished which would appear in the next morning's paper, and talked about how great it is to live in one of Seattle's many small towns. He also congratulated the new officers of the council who had just been elected by acclamation. The new and renewed leaders are: Karen Buschow, president; Barbara Reine first vice president; Leslie Rudd, second vice president; James Egan, third vice president; Janet Stillman, rec. secretary; Kathy Johnson, corr. Secretary; and Patrick Long, treasurer.
