Seattle Press Search Engine Debuts
Jul 20, 2000 --
Readers of The Seattle Press are encouraged to try our new search engine. This powerful new feature edition lets readers find any text content in any online edition since May, 1998.
To use the search engine, just type a text string into the little box below our title graphic at upper left. Then press your Enter key. All occurrences of the string in any headline, synopsis, article body, caption or sidebar will be tabulated and returned.
The search engine has been implemented by our online associates, Clark Internet Publishing Inc., and by our web host, Journalmaker™ Inc., whose publishing technology helps us prepare our online edition with a very easy transfer from our print version.
