Art Students Paint Local Railroadman

A sunny late summer Sunday afternoon found Lewis Nasmyth, fireman on the Ballard Terminal Railroad posing for a group of 25 or 30 artists who set up easels next to the railroad tracks alongside the Burke Gilman Trail in Fremont. The painters were members of Women Painters of Washington (with a few male painters included.) The event was arranged by Nancy Rothwell. Diana Scene and Cathy Call who share a studio in the area.
