Historic Hat 'n' Boots will Move to Georgetown Neighborhood Park

The Georgetown neighborhood recently won approval from the Seattle Parks Department, for a new neighborhood park which will also be the future home of the historic Hat 'n' Boots gas station. If voters approve Proposition 1, "Parks for All," will provide the funding for park improvements. Funds for moving and restoring the Hat 'n' Boots will be raised by the Georgetown community. Target time frame for the move is summer, 2001.
