Used Building Materials for Sale and Trade
Nov 30, 2000 --
The King County Solid Waste Division sponsors an online exchange site for used building materials.
It is called the Reusable Building Materials Exchange and is a free service to county residents. Residents can list used materials for sale or to give away and can also register to receive materials that they are interested in obtaining.
The service can be found at: http://dnr.metrokc.gov/swd/rbme/index.htm.

I have found some wallboard/panelling in the basement of my new home. There are seven natural colored, pressboard panels, 4 X 8, that appear to be in perfect condition. I have no use for them, and would give them freely to someone who does. |

I am looking for 5-10x10 used timbers between 6-8ft long. I can pick up. I was looking for this before and was contacted by a person in or near Mount Vernon that had some. Please contact me at earliest convenience with information. It is for a public art project through King County and Cherry Valley Elementary School. Thanks |

We are doing a mild remodel in the kitchen. Looking for (good) used countertop material. Manmade stone preferred in tan or gray tones. One 5'+ and one 6'+ in length...anyone? Thanks, Bob |
