A New Street in Fremont? Not For Long

Jan 11, 2001 -- The shiny new street sign at the intersection of Fremont Avenue North and North Motor Place reads "N Mortor Pl." Officials at the Seattle Department of Transportation's sign and signal repair office were unavailable for comment Saturday regarding the unceremonious renaming. An unidentified staffer indicated that the typo will be fixed post haste.
