Dance Program Marks Chinese New Year

To celebrate the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake, Asian Performing Arts Theater presents China in Dance at the Meany Theater, located on the UW campus, February 9 and 10. In Chinese astrology, the snake is unpredictable, clever, charming, passionate and possessive. Many in the 36-member troupe are the graduates of the Beijing Dance Academy and are considered the top dancers of China. For info call (206) 287-9998.

I called the number provided in the article, only to discover that this dance event occurred in 2001! There is no such event scheduled for 2004. |

Our school by the Multiculture Action Committee(M.A.C.)is hosting an event on April 28 2005. The events is called the Worlds Fair. Our club MAC, is looking for good entertainers any cultures is being celebrated(china,polynesian island,mexico and more culture.
