Last Time They Used Mules

Feb 08, 2001 -- Eager to get the beer flowing again, patrons Ken Phillips, Brian Thomas, Suzie Burke, Charlene Iverson and owner Alpha Zinkus, started the Red Door Alehouse on its way to a new location at N 34th Street and Evanston Avenue N. The popular Fremont tavern closed its doors February 3, and will reopen in June one block west.
