Jody Gets Her Bus Pass

Jody Haug (center) was presented with her senior citizen Metro bus pass by City Council members Jan Drago and Richard Conlin at a recent meeting of the Ballard District Council. Haug is chair of the Council's planning committee. "I think being 65 is wonderful," Haug told The Seattle Press. "The world needs more feisty old ladies." She said she's already used her bus pass to attend City Council meetings at the municipal building.

If only the bus pass could take her to Saudi Arabia so she can see first hand the enemy we are fighting, not her hippie, complacent IDEA of the "false enemy." |
