Try to Remember the Green Leaves of the '60s

Apr 19, 2001 -- 1956 Ballard High grad Bob Flick (right) brings his famous Brothers Four quartet back to Ballard on April 21 for a concert in (where else?) the school gym.

The Brothers Four were in the national spotlight in the early 1960s, when they performed at President Kennedy's inauguration and were an opening act for the Beatles' last U.S. concert. Concertgoers can expect to hear hits like "Green Leaves of Summer" and "Try to Remember."

The concert is a benefit for the Ballard High School band--funds raised will buy new band instruments for the first time in over 40 years.

Tickets can be purchased at Olsen Furniture, 5354 Ballard Avenue, or by phone at (206) 521-3208.
