The Seattle Press has purchased and installed 11 new street corner distribution boxes at locations around the city as part of a 20 percent expansion in circulation over the next six months. Circulation is expected to rise from its current 30,000 copies to 33,000 by the end of August and to 37,000 by the end of 2001.
