May 03, 2001 --
In a move most established artists would find amateurish, Ballard resident Alice Dubiel will show new paintings at three local businesses that are distinctly not art galleries.
The Sunset Hill Greenmarket at 6405 32nd Ave. NW and the Blue Sunset Cafe (next to the Gob Shoppe at the corner of NW 85th St. and 32nd Ave. NW) and Secret Garden Bookshop at 2214 NW Market Street will show her work during the month of May.
Two opening receptions are scheduled: May 6 at the Blue Sunset Cafe from 6 - 8 p.m. and May 12 at the Secret Garden Bookshop from 6 - 10 p.m. during the Ballard Art Walk.
