Huling Bros. Wins Award
Huling Bros. Auto Center was selected as April's Business of the Month by the Better Business Bureau/U.S. Bank Business of the Year awards program.
Huling was honored for excellence in customer service, community involvement and innovative business practices. Huling, a Chrysler dealership, was founded in 1946 and is family owned and operated. The firm has contributed over $160,000 to local schools including Seattle University South Seattle Community College, Mercer Island High School and Seattle Lutheran High School.

Plaid Dahlia Opens in Ballard
The Plaid Dahlia is a new full service flower shop and wedding chapel at 5427 Ballard Avenue NW. The shop, which is co-owned by Cindy Payne and Joanne Beeson, specializes in wedding arrangements. Payne is an ordained minister and Beeson is an experienced wedding arranger. The chapel is a small but lushly decorated Victorian room in the store just past the kitchen. It's billed as "an intimate alternative to the courthouse."
