Jesse Jackson, Jr. Endorses Firestone
Oct 25, 2001 -- Curt Firestone, challenging Jan Drago for the Position 4 seat in Seattle City Council, has picked up an endorsement from Congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., D-Illinois.Jackson, who rarely endorses candidates in local races, made an exception for Firestone because of their long professional relationship, dating back several years to when Jackson was the National Rainbow Coalition Field Director and Firestone was Vice President of the Washington State Rainbow Coalition.
