Phinney Winter Festival
Nov 21, 2001 --
The Phinney Neighborhood Association's 21st Annual Winter Festival and Crafts Fair will be held on December 1 and 2 at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N.
The Festival is a great opportunity for (relatively) early shopping, featuring more than 120 booths of crafts from the elegant to the outrageous.
It's also a great place to come to enjoy live entertainment, ranging from Appalachian cloggers to belly dancers to marching bands. Frosty the Snowman will be available for visits with kids and photos.
Funds raised from festival admission help support the PNA programs such as the soup kitchen, before and after school child care, tool lending library, the Ballard Family Center and many more. Attendees may also choose a name from the Giving Tree and provide a gift for a needy person in the community.
For more information and a complete schedule of events, call 783-2244.
