University Street Fair Will be May 15-16

The "granddaddy" of them Seattle Street Fairs--the University District Street Fair--will celebrate its 30th anniversary Saturday May 15 and Sunday May 16 on "The Ave" between 43rd and 50th NE.
Join in the celebration of music, dance, arts, crafts and food from all over the world. 500 booths, two stages and nine city blocks. The 1st Annual Pacific Northwest Lindy Hop Championships will take place on May 16th. For more information call the Street Fair at (206)632-9084.

Parking on the University of Washington campus will be $8
Saturday, May 15, 2004 from 7AM-4PM, and Sunday, May 16, 2004, 10AM-4PM. There is plenty of parking available in the Central Plaza Garage and in the North portion of campus

The SURESHOT ESPRESSO AND PINBALL CAFE will be open for business during the Street Fair. (We are 1 door North of 45th, on the West side of "the Ave" -- next to Twice Sold Books.)
We offer a large espresso menu including ORGANIC and WHITE COFFEEs, 3 kinds of chai, our original SUPER SMOOTHIES, Real Fruit Smoothies and Soy Smoothies. We carry assorted pastries, as well as Veggie Dogs, Smokie Dogs, Croissant Sandwiches, and VEGAN DONUTS.
THE SURESHOT FEATURES LIVE LOCAL BANDS every 2 weeks, and will have LIVE MUSIC on Sunday the 16th at 2pm and 4pm, no cover. We're open til midnight on Friday & Saturday, til 10pm on Sunday and the rest of the week. Come join us! |
