Local Author Becker Researches Book about I-5
Feb 28, 2002 -- Local author Paula Becker [Time Travel in Roosevelt with Betty MacDonald", February 14] is researching a book about the freeway in Seattle, and would like to hear from anyone who lost a house to the I-5 right-of-way in the late 1950s. She is especially interested in the stories of people who remember the freeway construction as children, and in anyone who retains correspondence with Washington State regarding property condemnation.
