Beacon Hill Station Design Meeting Tonight
Mar 28, 2002 -- Sound Transit will host a design meeting on March 28 at the Jefferson Park Community Center from 7 - 9 p.m. The Beacon Hill Station is proposed to be 150 feet underneath the intersection of Beacon Avenue and S Lander Street, with high-speed elevators and emergency stairs to access the tunnel. The proposed station design will be presented to the community by Sound Transit.A simultaneous meeting will take place for the proposed Capitol Hill Station that will run along Broadway from E John to E Howell Streets, from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the Seattle Central Community College.
