Planning Workshop for Cascade Playground

Apr 18, 2002 -- Seattle Parks and Recreation invites Cascade community members to a workshop on Thursday, April 18, 2002, 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Cascade People's Center, 301 Pontius Ave. The purpose of the workshop is to gather community input on improvements to Cascade Playground.

In November 2000, Seattle voters approved the $198.2 million Pro Parks levy for Parks and Recreation, including $515,500 to improve the Cascade Playground. The project will implement elements in the 1995 Cascade Park Site Plan. Potential park elements include active play areas, children's play areas and equipment, landscaping, and other amenities.
