Apr 25, 2002 -- This summer, the Center for Wooden Boats will be offering its Summer in the City program, a five-day maritime skills camp for kids ages 12 - 18. The camp activities include sailing, rowing, marlinspike seamanship and maritime history. By the end of the week, students can be piloting boats solo--an unforgettable experience!

The program is run by experienced staff and volunteers, who will share their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm for boating. The dates of the three week-long sessions are: July 15 - 19 (ages 12 - 14), July 22 - 26 (ages 12 - 14, and August 12 - 16 (ages 15 - 18). Camp is in session between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day at the Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley St. The cost is $175. For more information, contact CWB at (206) 382-2628 or cwb@cwb.org.
