Apr 25, 2002 -- An employee of a thrift store in Crown Hill leaves the store at 7:45 p.m. on a Saturday and observes a woman outside at the merchandise drop off area in the parking lot. She is going through the donated items and loading some things into her car. The employee tells her she can't be doing this, but she is hostile and replies that she'll be gone before the police arrive. The employee records her license plate number and calls the police. They trace the license plate number to a suspect, and give the store manager a case number and a number to call if she returns...
