Audubon and Parks Partner at Seward Park

May 30, 2002 -- In partnership with the Audubon Society, the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department is proposing to renovate the Seward Park Annex building into an environmental education center.

A public meeting will be held June 5 to gather community input on the conditions of the partnership, which would include the Audubon Society occupying a portion of the renovated building. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Pritchard Beach Bathhouse, 5500 S Grattan St. For more information about the meeting or the proposal, contact Jeff Lewis at 233-2758 or e-mail jeff.lewis@ci.seattle.wa.us.
