Stadium Sidewalk Vendor Fee Raised

Jun 20, 2002 -- Ballpark area vendors will be charging a little more for their wares, thanks to a new fee approved by City Council.

Last year, entrepreneurs selling hot dogs, popcorn and souvenirs were charged a flat $68 fee for the year as part of a pilot program. This year, there has been no fee in place until now. City Council approved a fee of $121.50 per month, which will cover striping vendor spaces and additional inspectors to regulate the operations.

The new fee applies only to vendors on public property; private property sales are not subject to it.
