Letter to the Editor: Slow down the speed limits

I agree we need to slow down our driving. Why the rush? Cars especially drive way too fast on residential streets. How is it that justice allows this renegade idea that cars have the right of way?

Incidentally, the police should be out there getting speeders instead of piling up a a Mariner's game—a fact I found out when our neighborhood (which has a speeding problem) tried to get the police coordinated with the huge neon speed sign letting people know how fast they are going. The police are only available if there is not a Mariner's or other game going on. We need the police to enforce the speed laws.

Thanks for your paper. It is so refreshing to know there is a paper out there that caters to the common folk and not just big businesses and those who have tons of money.
