Procedures and Rules

Data Preparation; Copy and Paste

Copy and Paste. Paste only ASCII text into the form. Word Processing users please note: You must remove (turn off) special characters such as "smart quotes" and "EM-spaces" and "EN-dashes" from your text before preparing/sending. These special characters are unique to your system and will not work predictably on the Web, and the editors will not retype your content; they will simply reject or return your article. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Graphics. If you have a graphic that you wish to have accompany your article, please check the box in the form. If your article is accepted, we will contact you with specifications for sending the graphic. (Graphics must be in JPEG format and should not exceed 800 pixels in the larger dimension.)

User Requirements

You must be a registered alumnus of Temple City High School; other submissions will be discarded unread. Your registration ID number is displayed below the text of your personal page in the Directory.

Submissions must be germane to the purpose of the site and must in the opinion of the editors be of interest to all readers or a major constituency such as a class or a known interest group. Other registered users should consider putting a note in The Forums (see the FAQ in The Forums for more information).

Submissions will be confirmed by inquiry to your registered address.

Submissions will be acknowledged within five business days, but publication may not occur until the next issue.
